SKIN TYPE 1
Oily / Clogged Pores / Prone to Severe Breakouts All Over the Skin
Among all skin types, this one is characterized by a very high production of sebum and large, clogged pores. Clogged pores and excessive sebum leads to the most severe breakouts of all the skin types, including blackheads and cysts. This skin type will break out from heavy oils or pore-clogging ingredients, and it needs a regular schedule of exfoliating with AHA and BHA exfoliants combined with antiseptic products.

Combination / Oily / Occasional Breakouts May Occur Due to Buildup
This skin type is characterized by the tightness and the dryness of the skin all around except on the T-zone, where the skin experiences severe oiliness. This type of skin requires skin-brightening and moisturizing products and pore-clearing exfoliants that are not drying on the skin. This skin type will not benefit from heavy oils or pore-clogging ingredients, and it requires anti-aging products as soon as signs of aging are noticed.

Oily / Combination / Sensitive / Prone to Consistent Breakouts and Blackheads
This skin type has oily T-zone and tightness, redness or irritation that gets worse when harsh and drying products are used. Constantly clogged and enlarged pores are also a characteristic of this type of skin. Constant breakouts and blackheads are also frequent in this type of skin. Skin becomes become red and flushes extremely quickly, and it also gets irritated and tight when harsh products are used on it. This skin type needs a non-chemical, natural products, soothing and antibacterial BHAs to clean all the blemishes and remove all the dirt without leaving the skin feeling dry, tight or irritated.

Oily / Combination / Sensitive / Occasional Breakouts
Skin type 4 is characterized as red, combination, and sensitive. Skin that belongs to this type is prone to occasional breakouts that can be cystic. Skin become red and flushes easily, and it also gets really tight and irritated after harsh products are used on the skin. This type of skin requires a careful blend of pore-cleaning BHAs, along with healing ingredients to deliver gentle blemish-clearing benefits without leaving the skin feeling tight, dry, or irritated.

Normal / Sensitive / Prone to redness / Anti-Aging

Normal / Dehydrated skin / Skin that is showing the signs of aging
Skin type 6 produces some oil (mostly in the T-zone) in the summer, but it gets dry and tight in the wintertime. This skin type may have enlarged pores and blackheads mostly in the T-zone. Because the skin is dehydrated, it needs products that will boost cellular turnover. The best solution is high concentrations of AHA exfoliants, and they will also help brighten the complexion and prevent visible signs of aging.

Dry / Tired / Displays signs of aging
Skin that belongs to this type feels tight and dry all year around, and it tends to look tired and older than it actually is. It is also characterized by loss of elasticity and hyperpigmentation. This skin needs healthy and energizing nutrients, like peptides and a high concentration of AHA exfoliants in order to increase oxygenation and encourage a healthy glow.

Dry / Shows signs of aging and sun damage
Skin type 8 is characterized by the feeling of dryness and tightness throughout the whole year. Usually, the skin has been excessively exposed to the sun, which left it with broken capillaries, loss of elasticity, and brown spots. Skin type 9 is very similar to skin type 8 when it comes to dryness, tightness, and the loss of elasticity. But this skin type is also characterized by visible fine lines, wrinkles, extreme loss of elasticity, and glow. This type of skin needs extreme care, and it requires comforting products to soothe and strengthen the skin from inside out.
